Joe Fresh launches activewear in extended sizes


Canadian retailer Joe Fresh is growing its plus-size offering with the addition of activewear.

Set to launch this Summer with pieces for Fall, the collection will be available online and in-stores as of July 19. The activewear collection will include classic items in sizes 0 to 22, everyday essentials, as well as eye-catching prints and vibrant colours, designed and constructed for various body types. The affordable grocery store brand first entered the plus-size market last Fall. Today, it offers the majority of its womenswear line in extended sizes. “When we launched extended sizing a year ago, the feedback was extremely positive," said President Ian Freedman, in a news statement. "We knew that an extended size range was something that our customers had been looking for, and we are excited to now offer even more great styles and exceptional value in a broader assortment to meet the needs of more women." Joe Fresh was founded in 2006. In Canada, Joe Fresh products are available in more than 1,450 retail locations; including over 350 Loblaw locations, 1,100 Shoppers Drugmart locations, 11 freestanding Joe Fresh stores and JoeFresh.com. The brand is also available internationally through local partners in the Philippines and the United States.
