H&M enjoys bumper July sales as global store count tops 4,100
Hennes & Mauritz sales pretty much flew in July, the global fashion retail giant reported Monday. Its shares also flew higher in morning trade, up by 2.6% to SEK278.60.
Sales including VAT jumped 10% year-on-year in local currencies last month, topping expectations. That was up on the 8% increase in June sales and was on top of the huge 16% increase of last year’s July.
Nothing else to report from H&M in Monday’s release except its total store count rose to 4,105 on July 31, compared to 3,649 a year ago.
