Hackett plans US debut this autumn
Upscale UK menswear brand Hackett will not let Brexit subdue expansion plans, its chairman Jeremy Hackett said as he set his sights on breaking into the US market from this autumn.
He told the London Evening Standard: “The Brexit [vote] has not suspended any of our plans to continue our global expansion.”
The retailer will also open department stores concessions in Essex and Newbury in the UK this year and will open a store at One New Change in the City of London next month.
Hackett, which has 124 stores and franchises around the world, recorded sales of £10m in the year to March 31 2015.
